Difference between Canon 600d, Rebel T3i, Kiss X5? Is there a difference?

I am looking into buying the Canon 600d.

However, when looking online there are many different cameras, including the Rebel T3i and Kiss X5, both which always appear cheaper than the 600d.

Is there actually any difference? Apart from having a different name on the front of the camera? If not, then why are they so much cheaper?

Really confused about the whole thing; if I can save £hundred or so and get a nicer lens then I will, but I don't want to compromise on the quality of the camera

canon sells the same camera with different name all over the world. In Europe it is T3i, In Japan it is Kiss, In other asian market like in India it is 600D.

You may get cheaper option in online shopping. Online seller save the money on showroom, employees and other marketing thing. So they give heavy discount. If you get the camera in cheaper price. make sure it is brand new. not from used one or grey market where warranty is void.

Hi, I recently picked up photography and own a Canon EOS 1000D/Rebel XS camera with lens kit EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II i got with the camera and EF 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 II lens (that i have from my old EOS 300 and using with my new camera).

I need a lens kit for portrait/general event/walk around photography and am thinking of buying a zoom lens with IS for shooting.

I have choices between 3 lenses, which cost around same price line that i need to decide upon.
EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM or
EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS or
EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS

my major concern is the image quality (sharpness and saturation). Also how much the pictures do get Chromatic Aberration and distortions at focal length ends on these lenses and how much they matter when compared with pros n cons of each other?

i'd especially like to know if the pictures are better (sharpness/saturation) on EF 18-135mm than on EF 28-135mm as the former is newer lens with better glass. if true, then how does 18-135mm compares with 18-200mm lens?

lastly, am in mumbai, India so do you know any dealer i can get the lens at a bargain price?

any suggestions?
