i have a film camera, its a canon rebel EOS and i wanna get the canon rebel t2i. would the lens from my film camera fit my digital one?

The EOS series (film and digital) can use the EF series of lenses. The T2i can also use the EF-S series lenses, but never put an EF-S lens on a full frame camera (it will damage the camera mirror).
Not only will an EF-S lens be labeled as such but it will have a white alignment square instead of a red alignment dot.

Is there an adapter I can use to make the Canon lens work on my Lumix camera. The DMC-FZ50 doesn't have that good of video quality, hence the Canon lens I'm trying to make work.

That Canon lens was designed to work with a Canon DSLR, not a Nikon DSLR, nor a Pentax or Sony DSLR. And since you have that Canon lens, you should be knowing that part
