Hey guys I have been looking into buying a new camera since my old one has given up on me.
I am a fairly active photographer and I have seen two models of camera which I have taken a liking to and I was wondering which model would be better as I will be using it as a keen photographer and an art student.
I'm torn between the Canon G11 and the Panasonic Lumix GF1, can someone tell me which is better for my needs?

The Panasonic, which is more versatile. The G11 is not a bad camera, but you are stuck with what Canon gave you with no options. The GF1 is an interchangeable lens body with a larger sensor, and both make this the better option.
