Strange as it may seem, the Hb-33 lens hood for the 18-55mm doesn't come with the lens.
Personally, I find lenshoods to be invaluable, and think it's just another way of getting aftermarket sales from the camera makers. It's strange how the hoods are packaged with some lenses (eg. 18-70mm, 18-200mm VR) but not others.
