okay, so i have a lumix panasonic and its really nice, but something happened last night, and now the shutter wont open or close. it takes pictures, but the lens is half shut, adn it shows in the pis.
please please help

Sounds like a power problem. If the camera has regular non-rechargable batteries, take them out and put a new set in to see if the problem goes away.
If the camera has a rechargeable battery, put it on the charger. The try to turn it off and on and let the lens retract.
It is not uncommon for such cameras to fail powering down all the way when the battery power is low. Sometimes cameras get stuck midway in powering down.
You may want to look at the support web site for ways to get this problem solved. In the future, keep batteries charged and allow the camera to do a full power-down, making sure nothing gets stuck.
