I have a Canon 450D camera with a basic lens (18 - 55mm lens). I wanted to buy macro lens for this camera and i ordered a set of macro lenses (+1, +2, +4, +10 Macro lenses). Unfortunately, seller send me the 52mm Macro lenses and denied from taking them back. Is there anyway that i can still use them with my camera?

Compatibility list for LM DSLR macro lenses
The LM macro lenses can be used with a large number of other lenses. It is important, however, not to exceed the recommended maximum focal length of the lens used. For the 40 mm LM macro lens we recommend a maximum focal length of 90 mm and for the 80 mm LM macro lens a maximum focal length of 140 mm. If the focal length exceeds these upper limits, this may lead to the so-called frosted glass effect. Frosted glass effect means that the edges of the image are blurred and the object only appears sharp in the centre. Incompatibility with LM macro lenses is a particular issue with the newer lens designs that incorporate special aspherical lens elements. Conventional, classic lenses deliver a considerably better image quality and, as a rule, are compatible with the LM macro lenses. In general, lenses with smaller front elements are better suited for use with the LM macro lenses. With filter threads of over 67 mm it is possible that vignetting (peripheral darkening) may occur over the entire zoom area. Low priced kit lenses (standard lenses) are especially suitable since they mostly have a filter thread size of less than 62 mm and feature the classic lens design. The best results are obtained with fixed focal length lenses, e.g. macro lenses.

I have a Canon Rebel Xsi, DSLR.
I know macro lenses are good, but I have a very limited budget. I need something inexpensive with HQ. I dont want to get another camera either, so what is a good inexpensive lens, filter, or maybe setting if that works, to take pictures super up-close of folowers, and small insects?

Canon's least expensive macro lens, the 50 2.5, costs about 290 bucks.
