Vr is a fairly new innovation on cameras ( in the large scheme that is ). So no you don't. VR will let you use a slower shutter speed handheld with the same length lens. If you are not using VR use the reciprocal of the lens focal length as your slowest handheld speed ( eg 200 mm lens 1/250 sec slowest shutter speed) or use a tripod or monopod when you are slower.

Ok so i have a Nikon s60 camera and my lens is all fuzzy and when you turn it on to take a picture it is not clear at all! So i was wondering what can i use to clean the lens? And i got this last year so i cannot return it and i dont want to buy a new camera because i have had like 5 lol. Thanks for your help!

You have to work very diligently with a camera lens. I have a Nikon as well and I know how careful you have to be. You need a special cloth to clean the lens. You can find them in glasses stores or even at Walmart as a phone/iPod screen cleaner. This is the only material that truly does not damage your lens in any way or leave micro-scratches. It is a finely woven spandex-based material. When you have this, break off one end of a Q-tip and place the cloth over it. Turn on your camera and use the tiny makeshift cleaner to clear your lens of anything that might be making your pictures fuzzy. Move in circles because going back and forth could just push the junk to the sides and leave it open to re-clogging your lens. A circular motion collects the stuff in the microscopic weaves or your cleansing material. NEVER use any kind of chemical or spray on your camera, even if it is eye-glass cleaner. Special lenses are used in Nikon cameras and they're very sensitive. Also, do not push very hard, if at all. Be extremely gentle because a slight shift in the lens, even by a fraction of a hair, could mess with the angle of all your pictures. Hope this helps! :)
