Whats the DSLR camera for under 700. A kit would be good.

I have used many different camera brands over the past 30 years, including Nikon, Fuji, Argus, Olympus and even Sanyo among others. Answers and you will find several people who upgraded to DSLR cameras now looking for a quality compact to use as their take along. All cite the size and weight of the DSLR as the main factor.
Since Olympus offers more for less money, youâll find it easier t get all those extras that go along with a new camera. You canât forget about the things you need such as memory cards, tripod, carry bag, extra battery, flash, etc. You donât want to find yourself short, no matter what camera you decide to buy.

Do Panasonic DMC-FS7 can zoom while recording ?

Hey, that looks like a pretty solid camera for the price. You can't go wrong with the Panasonic Leica lenses as they give the best image quality by far compared to many cameras on the market. They also have some really cool shutter features that offer better quality. Unfortunately, you CANNOT zoom while recording. I use the TZ5 compact for my travel shots and it DOES offer this option and is only about 75 dollars more if you go to amazon or ebay. Definitely stick with Panasonic but maybe try to go for the TZ5 or TZ7/ZS3 (brand new model).
